Label and organize regions of your canvas.
See how it works ↓Moving, resizing or renaming it never changes audio connections.
A group is a presentation rectangle behind nodes and wires, without audio ports.
A named region makes the route easier to read. Audio still follows the existing wires; the rectangle is not an audio processor.
If moving or resizing is unavailable, check Locked. Keep the caption away from controls and wires.
Groups organize the canvas and never process audio.
This organizational diagram has no relevant audio example. Grouping changes canvas presentation only.
This diagram is conceptual and does not move. It is not a DSP measurement or control for your running AudioRouter session.
nameNames the visual region.
Try thisCall a group Voice processing or Game audio.
Keep in mind Groups are saved locally per session and are not part of exported audio session files.
colorSets the rectangle color using a six-digit hex color.
Try thisUse blue for voice and green for desktop while retaining readable labels.
opacityControls background strength. A small value keeps wires and node controls visible.
↓ Lower / alternativeMakes the region subtler while retaining its caption.
↑ Higher / alternativeMakes the rectangle background stronger.
Try thisStart at 5%; raise only enough to distinguish regions.
fontSizeSets the caption size.
↓ Lower / alternativeMakes the caption smaller.
↑ Higher / alternativeEnlarges the caption.
Try thisUse 24 px to label a larger canvas region.
lockedPrevents accidental dragging, resizing and canvas deletion. Properties can still edit its appearance and unlock it.
Try thisLock a finished Voice group while connecting nearby tools.
Keep in mind Unlock it to move or resize it.
moveContentsDrag fully enclosed tools and nested groups together while preserving their relative positions. Resizing the frame leaves contents still.
Try thisEnable this to move a complete processing region together.
Keep in mind The smallest fully containing group owns a tool in overlapping frames. A selected child follows its carrying ancestor only once. Locked nested groups block carrying; unlock them or disable this option to move the outer frame alone. Existing groups keep frame-only behavior until enabled.
