What success looks like
The selected destination receives audio and the other destination stays silent through the handoff.

Send one signal to one of two destinations, such as headphones or an OBS virtual input.
See how it works ↓Switching fades the active destination down over 10 ms, then fades the new destination up over 10 ms. Both destinations are never active together, and an unconnected selected side stays silent.
Connect one source to the input, then connect destination A and destination B to the two outputs. The selected destination receives the signal; the other stays silent.
The selected destination receives audio and the other destination stays silent through the handoff.
If neither destination is audible, check that the selected output port is connected and that its destination is active. An empty side remains silent by design.
Select the node to open Properties. Click its name to rename it. While playing, supported parameter-only edits save after a short pause. For structural edits, use Save when the canvas marks a change. Enabled and Bypass are distinct live controls; see the in-app help for their behavior.
The guide audition plays the selected signal once to illustrate that a destination is active. In AudioRouter, A and B are separate graph outputs, such as headphones and an OBS virtual input.
The example repeats until you press Stop, and control changes are heard immediately. The picture shows the tool's shape rather than time; follow the timing in Follow the sound below. This is not a DSP measurement or control for your running AudioRouter session.
selectedWhich output port receives audio.
↓ Lower / alternativeChoose A to send audio to output A.
↑ Higher / alternativeChoose B to send audio to output B.
Try thisUse A for headphones and B for the virtual cable feeding OBS.
Keep in mind Selecting an empty output is silent; the switch never falls back to the other side.
These are starting points. Compare at a comfortable monitoring level and adjust for your own source.
